Personnel Safety Interlock (PSI) System

The Personnel Safety Interlock (PSI) System ensures the safety of all personnel inside the experimental station or optical hutch. It operates through a mandatory search procedure to confirm that no one remains inside before X-ray radiation is activated.

Requires a full personnel search before enabling X-rays 

Prevents radiation if the search is incomplete 

Provides safety reminders when opening or closing the hutch

This system helps maintain a secure and safe working environment for everyone.

⚠️ Emergency Radiation Stop System

The Emergency Radiation Stop System provides an immediate way to stop radiation in case of an emergency.

​✔  Emergency Stop buttons are located inside each hutch, near every 

    door, and at the main Hutch Interlock panel.

  Press and hold to stop X-rays or combined radiation immediately.

  Designed for quick response to ensure personnel safety during

    unexpected situations
